Crypto wallet Nume raises $2-M from Sequoia, others
Sequoia Spark-backed startup Nume has raised USD 2 million (INR 15.6 crore) from Sequoia Capital India, Beenext, Whiteboard Capital, and several angels. The company intends to use the funds to take the product to the market in the next 2-3 months. Nume, a crypto wallet founded in 2021 by sisters Madhumitha and Niveda Harishankar, allows users to deposit their crypto and start shopping with businesses that have integrated with NumePay checkout. It does not charge any fees from the users.
