Cuemath raises $57-M led by Alpha Wave, others

Bangalore-based edtech firm Cuemath has raised USD 57 million in a funding round led by Alpha Wave Global at a valuation of USD 407 million. All of Cuemath's existing investors, including Lightrock India, Sequoia Capital India, CapitalG, Manta Ray Ventures and Unitus Ventures participated. Cuemath offers an after-school online math program for K-12 (kindergarten to class 12) students. It will use the funds to strengthen its product-pedagogy outcomes and also other growth initiatives, including acquisitions and partnerships. The company will also look to expand its offerings to more than 100 countries in 2022-23 (FY23) across regions including North America, South America, Middle East, the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa.
