D2C cookware brand The Indus Valley raises $1.1 M from Rukam Capital, DSGCP, others
Chennai-based direct-to-consumer kitchenware start-up The Indus Valley has raised USD 1.1 million from Rukam Capital, DSG Consumer Partners (DSGCP) and existing investor The Chennai Angels (TCA). The round also saw participation from Lead Angels Network and Calega Family Office Investors Group. The proceeds will be used to expand its product portfolio, strengthen its team and to expand presence globally. Founded in 2016 by Jagadeesh Kumar and Madhumitha Udaykumar, The Indus Valley offers 100% natural, toxin-free kitchenware, providing alternatives to chemically coated products.
