D2C personal hygiene brand Koparo raises $1.5 M from Saama Capital, DSG, others

New Delhi-headquartered D2C (direct-to-consumer) personal hygiene brand Koparo has raised USD 1.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Saama Capital with participation from Fluid Ventures, M Venture Partners. Angel investors who pitched in include Rajesh Sawhney, founder, GSF Accelerator; Sridhar Sankararaman, Multiples PE; and Ramesh Menon. Existing investor DSG Consumer Partners also participated in the fundraise. Koparo claims to sell plant-based, toxin-free home cleaners and personal hygiene products. The company aims to use the fresh capital to build its offline presence, invest in brand building, and drive product innovation. Koparo had raised USD 750,000 last year from Saama Capital and DSG, who have doubled down in the current round.
