Deepak Fasteners attracts $48-M from Capri Stressed Assets Fund
Capri Stressed Assets Fund has invested INR 375 crore (USD 48 million) in a mix of debt, convertible debt and equity in Ludhiana-based Deepak Fasteners, manufacturer of Unbrako brand of fasteners. The company will be able to give an exit to some of its lenders through the investment. Two of Capri's representatives will join the board of Deepak Fasteners, which is aiming to come out with an initial public offering in the next few years. This is the maiden investment for Capri Stressed Asset Fund which is managed by Capri Xponentia Managers.
