Defence manufacturing co Jeh Aerospace raises $2.75 M from General Catalyst, others
Hyderabad-headquartered aerospace and defence manufacturing startup Jeh Aerospace has raised USD 2.75 million in a seed funding round led by General Catalyst with participation from angel investors Pratyush Kumar and Dwarkanath Srinivas. The new funds will be deployed to build infrastructure, fuel growth, and build a team of 100 people in the next six to nine months.Co-founded in 2022 by Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla, Jeh Aerospace offers manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain management solutions to the global aerospace and defence industry. It specialises in aerostructure, aero-engine components and assemblies, meeting rigorous quality standards. It works on a hybrid model where some of the parts are manufactured in-house. Operational in the US and Indian markets, it claims to have served 100 companies to date.
