Dental startup Toothsi raises $40-M led by Eight Roads Ventures

Toothsi, a Mumbai-based dental startup has raised USD 40 million from Eight Roads Ventures, South Korea-based Paramark and IIFL. Other investors who participated in the round include the family office of Medlife cofounders - Prashant Singh and Tushar Kumar - and existing investors Think Investments and the Mankekar family office. The company offers customers at-home teeth straightening using invisible, 3D-printed clear aligner technology. It will use the funds to further its geographic penetration and for category expansion. In August last year, the firm raised USD 20 million in a Series B funding round led by Eight Roads Ventures, Think Investments and the Mankekar Family Office. Earlier, in January 2021, Toothsi had raised USD 5 million in Series A funding.
