Developer tools startup Zipy raises $2.8 M from Blume, Together Fund

Pune- and San Francisco-based software as a service (SaaS)-based debugging platform Zipy has raised USD 2.8 million in a seed round led by Blume Ventures and Together Fund. The round also saw participation from BoldCap and FirstCheque, besides angel investors including Silicon Valley-based tech industry luminaries Jyoti Bansal and Neeraj Arora and other entrepreneurs like Deepak Diwakar and Nishant Mungali from MindTickle and Alok Goel, ex-chief operating officer at Redbus, and others. The company plans to deepen engagement with developers as part of a community programme to widen the reach of the product. The SaaS product helps customers execute debugging real-time, monitor errors and offers insights on a unified platform.
