Doms Industries acquires 30% stake in toy maker ClapJoy
Doms Industries Pvt Ltd, controlled by Italian stationery company FILA. Group, has acquired a 30% stake in Delhi-NCR based toy maker ClapJoy Innovations. Thacker & Associates, a transaction advisory firm in Mumbai, was the exclusive adviser on the deal. The funds received are expected to enable ClapJoy to expand its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities. While Doms will get access to ClapJoy's products, ClapJoy is likely to benefit from Doms Industries' distribution network, consumer understanding and product engineering. ClapJoy sells children's games and toys including wooden toys, flashcards, board games, activity kits, crochet toys and educational and creative toys manufactured using natural material and non-toxic colours.
