Drone solutions provider Indrones raises Rs.7-Cr from MapmyIndia

Publicly listed MapmyIndia has made a strategic investment of INR 7 crore for a 20% stake in Navi Mumbai-headquartered Indrones Solutions Pvt Ltd, a drone solutions startup. Indrones will use the fresh funds to scale up operations, expand its hours of flying experience, deliver more and larger projects for customers, and build autonomous and reliable drones. Indrones manufactures drones for a variety of uses and provides drone-based solutions for verticals such as smart cities, government, construction, oil & gas, and agriculture. It has developed technologies that allow for data collection, data processing and analytics and is working with clients across India in the ‘Drone as a Service' (DaaS) model.
