E-bike maker Oben Electric raises Rs.24-Cr from Dholakia Ventures, angels
Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle startup, has raised INR 24 crore (USD 4 million) as part of its Pre-Series A round of funding led by US India EV Angels LLC with participation from Dholakia Ventures and existing investor We Founder Circle. The company claims to have a healthy order book from India and export markets alike for its first electric motorcycle Rorr, comparable to a 150cc ICE motorcycle. In December 2021, Oben had raised over USD 2 million from We Founder Circle (WFC), GVK Family Office and other angels.
