E-commerce enabler Macmerise Celfie Design raises $1-M from IP Ventures, others
Mumbai-based e-commerce firm Macmerise Celfie Design has raised USD 1 million in a pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures. Other investors who participated in the round include Amitabh Bachchan, Tarun Katial, Ajmera Group and NAFA Capital. The proceeds will be used towards improving tech infrastructure, onboarding more brands, bringing on board celebrities to launch merchandise, reaching a wider audience, and developing new products. Founded by Sahil Shah and Rahul Satia, Macmerise claims to be a one-stop-shop for themed merchandise for celebs, influencers, brands offering over 50 products across categories such as consumer electronics, fashion & apparel, mobile accessories, games and stationery, home & kitchen and others.
