E-scooter maker Earth Energy scouting for addl funding

Mumbai-based EV maker Earth Energy, which is set to commence deliveries of its Glyde range of e-scooters shortly, is looking to invest around INR 100 crore in the next two years. It is looking to raise funds from various sources including PE firms and other financial institutions as well as strategic investors. The funds will be used for ramping up production, technology and R&D, among others.

From the Venture Intelligence Angel Investments Database: In Jul-2020, Earth Energy EV had raised funding from LR Joshi, Managing Director of Pranada Bio-Pharma with participation from other private investors. Earth Energy was part of the SmartCity Dubai Accelerator Programme in 2018.
