Edelweiss fund to acquire 8 road projects from L&T in Rs.7,000-Cr deal: report

Engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is selling its eight operational road assets to Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus, an infrastructure fund managed by Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors, at an enterprise valuation of INR 7,000 crore. The transaction, reportedly signed earlier this month, is awaiting regulatory approvals from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi).
