Edtech startup Creative Galileo raises $7.5 M from Kalaari, Affirma, others

Mumbai-based early learning edtech platform Creative Galileo has raised USD 7.5 million in a Series A round of funding from Kalaari Capital, Affirma Capital, East Ventures, Valiant Employee Investment Fund and angel investors. Creative Galileo, a character-based early learning platform for kids in the ages 3-10, claims to have over 7 million downloads and 7,00,000 monthly active users in over a year. The firm has so far raised USD 10 million, including a pre-series A round of USD 2.5 million in October last year. Creative Galileo will use the new funds to scale up and accelerate hiring talent across geographies. It will also introduce regional languages and further strengthen the research and development.
