Elev8 makes first close at $67-M for maiden VC fund
Elev8 Venture Partners, founded by former Kae Capital partner Navin Honagudi, announced its first close at USD 67 million. The maiden fund – with a target corpus of USD 200 million – has brought on board South Korea-based KB Investment and early-stage investor Venture Catalyst as anchor investors. Other limited partners in the fund include family offices and high-networth individuals in India, the Middle East and other parts of Asia. The growth stage VC fund will invest in ticket sizes varying from USD 10 million to USD 15 million, in 12 to 14 startups, which are in an enterprise valuation range of USD 100 million to USD 500 million.
