Emami acquires 26% stake in health juices seller Axiom Ayurveda
Personal care firm Emami Ltd has acquired a 26% equity stake in Ambala, Haryana-headquartered Axiom Ayurveda, through both primary infusion and secondary buyouts. Axiom Ayurveda markets a range of beverages under the brand name AloFrut. It is also present in the Ayurvedic juice segment under the Jeevan Ras brand.
From the Venture Intelligence Angel Investment Database: In June-2023, Axiom Ayurveda had raised USD 1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, Mithun Sacheti and other investors.
