Engagement analytics platform Lightbulb raises $1.5 M from Chiratae, 9Unicorns, others

Mumbai-based Lightbulb.ai, an emotions & engagement analytics platform, has raised USD 1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Chiratae Ventures and 9Unicorns. Others who participated in the round include Anthill Ventures & video-editing company, VideoVerse. The funds raised will be deployed to deepen the datasets for machine-learning technology and expand the product offering of emotions & engagement insights gathered from a user's video, audio & speech inputs. Lightbulb claims to have four patents in the pipeline & datasets spanning millions of faces across geographies & ethnicities. These will be used to map user emotions & engagement in real-time.
