Enterprise gig platform Awign raises $15-M from Bertelsmann, Amicus Capital, others

On-demand work fulfilment platform Awign has raised USD 15 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Bertelsmann India Investments and Amicus Capital. Other participants in the funding round were Mynavi Corporation and existing investors Unitus Ventures, and Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF). The new funds will be used for enhancing technological capabilities, expanding digital services into global markets, and for acquisitions. Awign will also leverage India's large pool of gig workers to solve problems for organisations across the globe.
