Equity mgmt solutions provider Qapita raises funding from Citi
Singapore- and Hyderabad-based cap table management SaaS solutions provider Qapita, which earlier raised a Series A round of USD 15 million co-led by East Ventures and Vulcan Capital, has formed a partnership with Citi, which has joined the round as a strategic investor. Qapita plans to facilitate liquidity solutions via a digital marketplace, enabling transactions for companies between investors and employee stakeholders. Qapita expects the value of private securities in this region to exceed USD 1.0-1.5 trillion (with 200-250 unicorns) in the next few years and that scalable digital solutions will be critical for such an ecosystem to thrive.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Sep-20 and Oct-21, Qapita raised funding from NYCA Partners, MassMutual Ventures, East Ventures, Endiya Partners, Vulcan Capital, and others.
