Escrow banking platform Castler attracts $5-M from Capital 2B, IIFL Fintech Fund, others
Delhi-based global escrow banking platform Castler has raised USD 5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Capital 2B (an Info Edge fund) and IIFL Fintech Fund. Stride Ventures and Piper Serica also participated in the funding round along with returning investors Zerodha, Venture Catalysts, 9Unicorns, and FAAD Network. Castler will use the funds to further grow its domestic and cross-border escrow product portfolio, expand banking partnerships to 25 banks.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In June 2022, Castler raised around INR 6.86 crore from Rainmatter Capital, Z Nation Lab Growth Fund Scheme 1, LV Angel Fund, F Cast Network, Naveen Kukreja, Deepak Kumar Gaddhyan, Ram P Joukani, Girish Shivaji Patil, Dhiraj Shah, 9Unicorns Accelerator Fund and Sree Ganesh Ventures.
