Event-focused betting platform Better Opinions raises $2.5 M from Metaplanet VC, Goldwater Capital,
Gurugram-based Better Opinions has raised USD 2.5 million (about INR 20 crore) from a host of investors including Metaplanet VC and Goldwater Capital. YCombinator, Taurus VC, Original Capital, Tremis Capital, and Super Capital also participated in the funding round besides angel investors. Better Opinions is an application which allows users to trade their opinions with real money on events in categories such as cricket, cryptocurrency, politics and entertainment. The company claims to have more than 6 lakh users who have traded about INR 10 crore plus on the platform.
