Event-tech startup Ticket 9 raises $120-K
Coimbatore-based event tech startup Ticket 9 has attracted USD 120,000 in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Prabhu Rangarajan, Vijay Pravin Maharajan, Ashok Vardharajan, Sundararaman Ramasamy, Mohan K, JaiKumar, and other angel investors from the US, Singapore, Australia and Thailand. The company plans to use the funds to enhance its product development and strengthen the technology stack, team, and for market expansion. Co-founded by Yazhini Shanmugam and Santhos Premraj, Ticket 9 is an event tech startup building SaaS products that provide a suite of tools to create, manage, promote, and monetize events. The platform helps event organisers to streamline event management to drive revenue growth and event enthusiasts to discover more personalized events nearby. Ticket 9 has a presence in cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
