Eye-care chain ASG in talks with PEs to sell 49% stake
Eye-care chain ASG Eye Hospitals is set to sell an about 49% stake. ASG, which has started discussions with several private equity funds, expects a valuation of INR 2,300 crore (USD 300 million) for the chain. ICICI Securities is running the sale process. A clutch of PE funds such as General Atlantic, Carlyle, Warburg Pincus and domestic fund Kedaara were approached and bids are expected by the end of March.
