Eye hospitals chain ASG raises Rs.1,500-Cr from General Atlantic, Kedaara

Jodhpur-headquartered ASG Eye Hospitals has raised INR 1,500 crore (about USD 187 M) in an investment round led by General Atlantic and Kedaara Capital. The transaction will provide an exit to Investcorp, which had invested in the company in 2017. ICICI Securities acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction and AZB & Partners, as legal counsel to ASG Eye Hospitals. Khaitan & Co. acted as legal counsel to Foundation Holdings and InvestCorp, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as legal counsel to General Atlantic and Veritas Legal as legal counsel to Kedaara Capital.
