Eye-wear startup ClearDekho raises $4-M from Aroa Ventures, others
Ghaziabad-headquartered eye-wear startup ClearDekho has raised USD 4 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal's Aroa Ventures. The round also saw participation from other investors such as CK Jaipuria Family Office (Pepsi Bottlers AP), NB Ventures Dubai, Anuj Sheth of AAJ Ventures, Kitty Agarwal of Infoedge, Anand Chandrasekaran, Nandi Vardhan Mehta, Venture Catalysts, SOSV MOX and Gemba Capital, among others. ClearDekho plans to use the fresh funds to expand its offline stores, enhance back-end operations, and hire talent. Founded in 2017 by Shivi Singh and Saurabh Dayal, ClearDekho offers affordable eyeglasses and targets to Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV towns and cities.
