F2P gaming startup Lila Games raises $10-M from Rainfall, Bitkraft Ventures, others

Bangalore-based free-to-play (F2P) gaming startup Lila Games has raised USD 10 million in a Series A financing round led by Rainfall Ventures. The round also saw participation from Bitkraft Ventures, Galaxy Interactive, Sequoia Capital India and Krafton along with angels including Ryan Wyatt (CEO of Polygon Studios); Tanay Tayal (co-founder of Moonfrog Labs) and Thomas Vu (producer of Arcane: League of Legends). Lila Games will use the funds to develop its first “shooter game” title and further, build out its India-based team. Founded in 2020 by Joseph Kim, Paul Leydon and Avinash Pandey, Lila Games seeks to build “highly emotional” gaming products.
