Farm products supplier VilFresh attracts Rs.1.82 Cr in bridge round

Coimbatore-based Laymen Agro Ventures, which supplies farm-fresh produce in urban areas under the brand VilFresh, has closed a bridge round of INR 1.82 crore from investors in the Middle East. The round, closed in April 2022, was led by Priya Parthasarathy, an investment professional based out of Dubai. (In 2020, it got INR 60 lakh from mentors Hemalatha Annamalai, Sudip Nandy, and Ramasubaramanian.)

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In May-19, VilFresh had raised INR 1.15 crore in a round led by the Native Angels, with participation by Upaya Social Ventures and Sangam Ventures.
