Fashion retail chain Bazar India raises Rs.25-Cr on Planify Capital platform

Gurugram-based Bazar India, a fashion and lifestyle company, has raised INR 25 crore in Series A funding on the Planify Capital platform. The round was led by Shashvat Nakrani, co-founder of Bharatpe; Sanjiv Maini, VP at Hindware group; Bhumika Srivastava, HR Director at Airbnb; and others. It will use the funds for strengthening the team, marketing and branding, for expansion plans and platform advancement.
Bazar India, which aims to operate as a 'One Stop Shop' for the fashion needs of the entire family, has a strong presence in Northeast India. Since its launch in 2015, it has opened 55 stores with an area spread across 4.51 lakh sq ft in 51 cities pan India.
