Financial wellness-focused neobank BranchX raises $900-K in bridge round
Mumbai-headquartered BranchX, an artificial intelligence-powered neobank, has raised USD 900,000 in a bridge funding round led by Abdul Khaliq and Rais Motlekar. Existing angel investor Afzal Modak also participated in the funding round. The firm will use the proceeds to expand, support product enhancement, and advance the development of Xenie, a Gen AI voice assistant solution that encompasses retail connect, loyalty programs, and rewards system. Founded in 2020 by Rajesh Johnny and Sajid Jamal, BranchX provides a comprehensive ï¬nancial utility solution via Raja Rani cards to individuals in semi urban areas and towns, aimed at promoting ï¬nancial wellness.
