Fintech app Jar raises $22.6 M from Tiger Global, Arkam Ventures, Eximius, others

Jar, a Bengaluru-based fintech app for savings, has raised USD 22.6 million led by existing investor Tiger Global. Other existing investors Arkam Ventures, Eximius Ventures, Force Ventures, LetsVenture, Rocketship Venture Capital and WEH Ventures also participated in the Series B round. New investors who joined the round include 1Finance, Capier Investments, Cloud Capital, Folius Ventures, Panthera Capital, and Prophetic Ventures. The startup has been valued at USD 300 million following the funding round. Jar, which was founded last year by Nishchay AG and Misbah Ashraf, plans to use the fresh capital to expand its workforce and strengthen its technology stack. The startup had raised USD 32 million led by Tiger Global in February at which time, it was valued at around USD 200 million.
