Fintech startup Perfios raises $70-M from Warburg, Bessemer India

Bengaluru-based fintech startup Perfios has raised around USD 70 million in a Series C round from existing investors Warburg Pincus and Bessemer India. The company had raised USD 50 million in a Series B round led by the same investors in November 2019. Perfios is to allot 416,336 Series C preference shares at INR 12,610 apiece to raise INR 525 crore (USD 70 million). Warburg has invested INR 412.5 crore in this round while Bessemer has put in INR 112.5 crore. Further, the company has allotted 495,069 optionally convertible preference shares to the founders of Karza Technologies, Omkar Shirhatti, Gaurav Samdaria and Alok Kumar. Founded in 2008, Perfios helps financial institutions in real-time decision-making, analysis and credit underwriting.
