Fintech startup Stockal raises $9-M

Bangalore-based global stocks investment platform Stockal has raised USD 9 million (about INR 68.5 crore) in its series A funding round from Hashed Venture Fund (a Korean fund specialising in Fintech and crypto space) and PEAK6 (US-based investment firm and owner of Apex Fintech). ARC Group Ventures, Trica, 7Square, AZ Ventures, Czar Capital, Riso Capital and some of Stockal's existing investors also participated in the funding round. Stockal will utilise the funds for driving its international expansion plans to enter the Southeast Asian markets.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In May-21, Stockal had raised USD 3 million in pre-Series A funding from Aroa Ventures (an investment initiative of OYO founder Ritesh Agarwals family office), Cadenza Capital Management, wealth management platform Kristal.ai, Tracxn Labs, July Ventures, and Credence Family Office.
