Fitness tech startup Insane AI raises $873-K from pi Ventures, others
Bengaluru-based fitness training app Insane AI has raised USD 873,000 (INR 6.5 crore) in seed funding round led by pi Ventures along with a clutch of angel investors including Anupam Mittal (founder and CEO, People Group), Sameer Pitalwalla (ex-Culture Machine, Epic Games), Saumil Majumdar (founder, SportzVillage), Karan Tanna (CEO, GhostKitchens), Arjun Jain (faculty at IISc) and LetsVenture. The company provides "personalised workouts" by using big data, AI and tracking body motion using phone sensors. Insane AI plans to use the new money to invest in product development and innovation, strengthen its tech team and accelerate growth in the international market.
