FMCG co Emami acquires 30% stake in pet-care startup Cannis Lupus
FMCG firm Emami Ltd has acquired a 30% stake in Gurugram-based Cannis Lupus Services India Pvt Ltd, a pet-care startup, in an all-cash deal. Through the deal, the acquirer company will roll out a range of natural, ayurvedic and chemical free products for pets. Cannis Lupus offers Ayurvedic remedies for pets under the brand "Fur Ball Story". It is using a range of plants and herbs to formulate the best of medicines that will help not just in physical, but mental healing of animals as well.
