French co Ceva Logistics to acquire Stellar Value Chain
Marseille, France-based Ceva Logistics is to acquire 96% in Mumbai-headquartered Stellar Value Chain Solutions from private equity firm Warburg Pincus and other shareholders. The acquisition will lead to Ceva getting about 7,700,000 sq ft of space across more than 70 facilities in 21 cities across India. It will also inherit Stellar's workforce of nearly 8,000 full-time and temporary employees. Started in 2016 by Anshuman Singh, Stellar Value Chain is focused on contract logistics with omni-channel fulfilment services in the e-commerce, automotive, food products, consumer, fashion and retail, healthcare and pharmaceuticals market segments. Anshuman Singh will continue to drive the business following the acquisition.
