Gaming startup Backlight Studio attracts funding from Polygon, others
Noida-headquartered Backlight Studio Works, the parent company of gaming startup Backlight Games, has attracted funding in a round led by Udyat Ventures. This round also saw participation from Manish Agrawal, the former CEO of Nazara Technologies, as well as Polygon Ventures and Dexter Ventures. The fresh capital will be used by Backlight to expand its workforce, enter new markets, and invest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies to provide personalised experiences to players.
