Gaming startup Zupee raises $102-M led by Nepean Capital

Gurugram-based skill-based casual gaming company Zupee has closed its Series B funding round of USD 102 million led by Nepean Capital, which invested USD 72 million, at a USD 600 million valuation. Other investors in the round include WestCap Group, Tomales Bay Capital, AJ Capital, Matrix Partners India and Orios Venture Partners. The funds will be used for developing new products, enhancing immersive design experiences, expanding into new geographies, ramping up marketing, and hiring talent. Zupee has announced a strategic partnership with Reliance Jio entailing integration of the Zupee products in Jio handsets which will reach Jio's 450 million users.
