GIC invests Rs.119-Cr more in IRB InvIT Fund

Singapore Sovereign Wealth Fund GIC has invested INR 118.82 crore more in toll roads InvIT, IRB Infrastructure Trust, via a Rights Issue to retain its stake at 49%. Publicly-listed IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd has invested INR 124 crore for its 51% share holding.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: GIC had originally INR 4,400 Cr in IRB InvIT Fund in Aug-2019 for a 49% stake. In Jul-2021; it had invested INR 187 Cr more via a rights issue.
