GIC to invest Rs.2,800-Cr in Bhartiya City: report
Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC is to invest INR 2,800 crore in Bhartiya Group's commercial project, Bhartiya City, in Bangalore. GIC will pick up 3 million sq ft of commercial assets in the 125- acre township project which already has the offices of IT firms like IBM and Infosys. The Bhartiya Group will use the money to repay part of its over INR 1,000 crore debt
Between May-07 and Sep-18, Bhartiya City Developers had raised over USD 400 M from Piramal Enterprises, KKR and IIML
