Glass maker Gold Plus attracts Rs.600-Cr from Kotak Fund, Premji Invest

Kotak Special Situations Fund (KSSF), managed by Kotak Investment Advisors, is to invest up to INR 450 crore in New Delhi-based float glass manufacturer Gold Plus Glass Industry Ltd. Existing investor Premji Invest will invest an additional INR 150 crore. Gold Plus has two manufacturing lines in North India, and offers a full bouquet of product offerings of clear glass and value-added glass. It will use the funds to set up two new float glass manufacturing lines and one solar glass line in South India at a cost of INR 2,500 crore.
