Goa Brewing Co raises $700-K from K.Ganesh, Samrath Bedi, Ekcle Ventures
The Goa Brewing Company, owned by Goa Brewcrafts Pvt Ltd, and known for its ‘People's Lager' and ‘Eight Finger Eddie' craft brews, has raised USD 700,000 (about INR 5.6 crore) from investors. This fundraise will help the firm increase production and in its expansion plans in Bengaluru and Delhi. The investors who participated in the fundraise include K. Ganesh, serial entrepreneur and promoter of BigBasket; Samrath Bedi, executive director of beauty brand Forest Essentials; and members of Ekcle Ventures, an angel network. Saama Capital and DSG Consumer Partners had invested in the company in early stages.
