Handloom saree seller Avishya raises $1.4 M from US-based angel investors
Chennai-headquartered Avishya Handloom, a handloom-saree and clothing firm, has attracted USD1.4 million from a bunch of US-based angel investors. Avishya has been online since 2016 and offers to courier to locations across India and around the world. The firm sources handloom sarees and other products directly from weavers, weaving societies and designers from over 20 locations in India.
