Health-tech startup GOQii raises $10-M more in Series C round from Animoca Brands
Health tech firm GOQii has raised USD 10 million (about INR 76 crore) from Animoca Brands as part of an extended C round. The raised funds will be used for building a health metaverse where the firm will partner with others to build the entire ecosystem. The company will collaborate with Animoca Brands and its ecosystem companies and projects to develop various offerings that leverage blockchain tokens and gamification in preventive healthcare. The company had raised USD 50 million in February 2021 in the first tranche of the Series C round led by Sumeru Ventures with participation from Modality, 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts etc.
