HealthAssure raises Rs.50-Cr from Blume Ventures, Rajiv Dadlani Group, others
HealthAssure, a healthtech startup, has raised INR 50 crore (about USD 6.2 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by the angel investments focused Rajiv Dadlani Group with participation from Blume Ventures, Leo Capital, family offices and high-networth individuals. The company intends to deploy the funds to enhance its product, strengthen the distribution and outpatient department (OPD) insurance network and to invest in primary healthcare technology. Founded in 2011 by Varun Gera, HealthAssure, has a presence in 1,200 cities and aggregates primary health care services and OPD insurance. It claims to have served more than three million customers. The company has raised INR 220 crore so far from its funding rounds. In 2020, it also acquired a fitness startup, FitMeIn.
