Healthy-snacks seller Nourish You raises $2-M
Hyderabad-based superfoods brand Nourish You has raised USD 2 million in a seed funding round with participation from Y Janardhana Rao of Triumph Group, Rohit Chennamaneni (co-founder, Darwinbox), Nikhil Kamath (co-founder, Zerodha), Abhijeet Pai (co-founder, Gruhas Proptech), and Abhinay Bollineni (CEO, KIMS). The firm will use the funds for R&D, to diversify its portfolio of products. Some of the funds will be spent on marketing, talent acquisition, and strengthening distribution. Founded in 2015 by Sowmya Reddy, Krishna Reddy, and Rakesh Kilaru, Nourish You retails quinoa, chia, millets, edible seeds, and breakfast cereals across e-commerce platforms. It also exports products to Nepal, Singapore, Kenya, Dubai, Mongolia, and Maldives.
