HR-tech startup BetterPlace raises $12-M more from Jungle Ventures
Bengaluru-based blue collar workforce management startup BetterPlace is raising USD 12 million (INR 96 crore) from existing investor, Singapore-based Jungle Ventures. The amount would be raised by allotting convertible notes in two tranches. BetterPlace offers employee lifecycle management services including onboarding, background verification, training, certification, attendance management, and upskilling. It claims to be working with 1,500 companies. The firm is also working on as D2C-based product called ‘Rocket'. The new funds will be used for expansion and general corporate purposes.
