I Squared Capital to invest $500-M in Hexa Climate Solutions
Infrastructure focused private equity firm I Squared Capital is to invest around USD 500 million in Hexa Climate Solutions. Founded by Sanjeev Aggarwal, Hexa Climate Solutions will cater to the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector and offer services such as renewable energy generation, storage, and investments in carbon offset projects. Sanjeev Aggarwal and I Squared had earlier partnered to create Amplus Energy Solutions, one of India's largest rooftop solar power producers - acquired by Malaysia's Petronas in April 2019 (for INR 2,700 crore).
