Indis raises Rs.1,000-Cr from Brookfield for South Indian residential projects

Hyderabad-based realtor Indis (formerly Incor Group) has raised INR 1,000 crore from Brookfield Asset Management's Special Investment Fund (BSI) to be deployed in five under-development residential projects in South India. The investment, which is in the form of structured capital, will provide Indis with additional liquidity to accelerate the projects which have a total developable area of around 6.5 million sq ft. Indis has so far delivered 5 million sq ft area while another 11 million sq ft is currently under development.
