Indonesian SaaS startup Lummo raises $80-M from Sequoia Capital India, others
Lummo (formerly BukuKas) has raised USD 80 million (about INR 595.8 crore) in a Series C round of funding led by Tiger Global and existing investor Sequoia Capital India. Other investors including CapitalG (part of Google's parent company Alphabet), NuvemShop CEO Santiago Sosa and former Lazada CEO Max Bittner also participated. Lummo is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup seeking to accelerate the business growth of MSMEs in Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia. The company offers entrepreneurs and brands the opportunity to sell directly to their customers and enable them to build a strong and distinctive brand online, using LummoSHOP.
